I am a professional makeup artist. My clients approach me as they want to look their best on a special day, and not just for makeup. Apart from consulting and deciding a suitable hairstyle and makeup for them, I take up putting the whole look together.
From styling their dupattas to choosing their jewelry, I take care of every detail once they book me.
It is a fact, you get a designer dress, a classy jewelry set but it’s a makeup artist who will create the look that will do justice to all.
In a short conversation with my bride, I have to analyze her style, her comfort, kind of gathering she is attending, lighting, her features, have to have a look at her jewels, her dress, and create a look.
So she hires me for makeup and hairstyle (yes I myself do all the hairdo) and there I am, for her, putting everything together.
So, I feel it’s not only a passion for makeup that should make you a good makeup artist. Your aim should be putting the whole look together beautifully. It comes naturally to me; I have this habit of admiring the beauty around me, be it a garden, a cute set up of a patio, a well-presented dish, a beautiful thali of pooja.
